Account deletion
How to delete your account and data
Joutra lets you delete your account directly in the app. This guide explains what is removed and what you may need to do separately.
Steps in the app
- Open Joutra on your device.
- Sign in with your Apple or Google account.
- Tap Settings in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to Account actions.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete in the dialog.
What gets deleted
- Your authentication account
- All journal entries stored on your device
- Your local account profile in the app
- Association of your subscription profile with your account in our systems
What may remain
- An active App Store or Google Play subscription until you cancel it in your store account
- Limited records retained by third-party providers (such as Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or OpenAI) under their own privacy policies and legal obligations
